Maintaining Independence Without A Nursing Home
I was getting older and more unsteady on my feet. I didn't want to fall and I thought that surrounded by a tub, of being able to get in and out, was what I needed. Kohler is a reliable company and first of all, my mind was thinking, “If I got this bathtub, it wouldn't cost any more than two or three months in a nursing home, which I could avoid if I didn't fall.”

Whirlpool Jets Enhance Comfort
The low step threshold is great. I have no problem getting in and out of the tub. I love the jets. I love sitting in there and letting it go for 15 minutes. I love everything about the Kohler walk-in bath.
Wide Door and Low Entry Allows Accessibility
I was most satisfied with the design of the tub. I like the door, it seems to be a little wider. The access is a little bit easier to get in and out. Being the tub is wide, you don't have a little hump that you have to climb over.

Safety Features Encourage Freedom

I really love all of the jets...If you have any physical condition, any achy bones, achy joints, or achy attitude, take a long hot jacuzzi bath and it will change your attitude. You can walk right in and walk out.

Hydrotherapy Brings Relief for People With Limited Mobility
I will be 79 in less than a month and have fibromyalgia and advanced osteoarthritis. My mobility and balance are poor. My walk-in tub is very easy and safe to enter and exit. The jets massage the soles of my feet, the backs of my lower legs, and my lumbar area. Not only is this relaxing but I derive some pain relief which is much needed.
